The “Proud to be a Dairy Farmer” program is designed for young dairy farmers and employees who are excited about working in the industry and eager to learn more.  The program runs over three days to showcase all the industry has to offer within the supply chain with three days in Melbourne.

After some encouragement from the Co-operative, Sunshine Coast DFMC farm manager Anna and DFMC Malanda farmer Lachlan applied and were both selected for the 2026 cohort spending this week in Melbourne!

We firmly believe in the value of investing in our people for the future success of our industry and encourage any likely candidates between 20-30 years of age to apply for the 2027 program.
