Dairy Code of Conduct Overview
The Dairy Industry Code of Conduct (the Code) aims to increase the clarity and transparency of trading arrangements between dairy farmers and those buying their milk – DFMC (as the first purchaser)
All standard form agreements (supplier contracts) must:
- include a minimum price
- be accompanied by a statement of circumstances
- include a non-exclusive standard form option
Processor’s must report on disputes. A report for DFMC for the period May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022 is here
